Hardware and Software Information

Before Coming to Campus

University policy requires that computer systems have current operating systems, patches and updates. Windows, Apple Macintosh or Unix/Linux operating systems are allowed. Windows computers are required to have current anti-virus and anti-spyware software (Symantec anti-virus/anti-spyware is available free of charge).

Network Access

All residence halls and apartments have wired network connections. Service is provided as part of the room & board fee.

Wireless Network Access is available in many locations on campus (click for campus wireless map). Housing wireless is provided throughout the resident hall, common areas and dining centers. Apartment complexes also have CSU wireless access in the community centers and some common areas.
