Pingree Park Campus

Just three and a half hours from Denver International Airport and 53 miles west of Fort Collins, Colorado, lies a beautiful mountain valley called Pingree Park. Within this valley is Colorado State University's Pingree Park Campus and Conference Center. The 1,200-acre campus is within sight of Rocky Mountain National Park, the Comanche Peak Wilderness Area, and Roosevelt National Forest.

Our six-month season of operation runs from spring to fall. Purple Pasque Flowers greet visitors in May, while brightly colored aspen leaves and early winter snows announce the fall months. Moose and deer often are seen in the valley, as well as pine squirrels, rabbits, and many bird species.

At an altitude of 9,000 feet (2,750m), Pingree Park provides cool summer days perfect for hiking, fishing, and wildlife viewing. Trails leaving from the central campus invite conference visitors to a leisurely forty-five minute walk up to Denny's Point or a rigorous all-day climb up Stormy Peaks. A conference held at Pingree Park removes the group from the hectic pace of urban life. The lack of distractions allows participants to focus on meeting topics. Park the car, forget about the phone, put on some comfortable clothes, and listen to the sounds of the river.
