The Pingree Park Mountain Campus is 53 miles west of Fort Collins, Colorado, a one and a half to two hour trip, and three and a half hours from Denver International Airport (DIA).
How to Reach Fort Collins
Traveling north from Denver International Airport (DIA), take 1-25 north to Fort Collins and Exit 269 going west (Mulberry Street/Hwy. 14) to North College Avenue (Hwy. 287). Traveling south from Wyoming, take 1-25 south to Exit 269, going west to North College Avenue (Hwy. 287).
How to Reach Pingree Park from Fort Collins
To reach the Pingree Park Campus, go north on U.S. 287 to mile marker 22. Turn west on Hwy. 14 going up Poudre Canyon. Stay on Hwy. 14 past "Kelly Flats" Campground to the turn off for Pingree Park (County Road 63E). Turn south across the bridge and drive on a gravel road for 16 miles to reach Pingree Park.

Weather Information
Weather data has been collected at Pingree Park for many years. On-site measurements indicate a mean annual temperature of 35 F. Temperature extremes have ranged from a low of -45 F to a high of 83 F. Average minimum, mean, and maximum temperatures for the summer/visitor months are given in the following table.
Mean annual precipitation is about 21 inches (54 cm) with approximately 60 percent of the annual precipitation occurring from October through May, primarily in the form of snow. This amounts to an average annual snowfall of about 200 inches (500 cm), but annual snowfall can easily vary from one-half to twice the amount. Summer precipitation from June to September is usually in the form of thunderstorms of short duration, high intensity, and small-area coverage. Most thunderstorms occur in the afternoon due to solar heating beginning at sunrise.
