Position SummaryThe Sales and Marketing Manager is a full-time, year round position that designs, develops and executes a multi-layered marketing and sales program to promote and contract CSU facilities, dining services, housing and client services to qualified internal and external markets. This position will develop leads that result in contracts, conduct campus site tours and be responsible for identifying and pursing prospective clients. In addition, this position will provide summer conference and event coordination support for an operation that provides logistical, planning, registration and financial support for on and off campus programs through the delivery of superior customer service.  This position is expected to maintain and develop collaborative working relationships with a variety of departments and individuals across CSU, the local community and the state in an effort to increase awareness and utilization of CES. About Us: The Department of Housing & Dining Services is responsible for the management, finance, administration, and program development of all University housing facilities including:

  • 13 residence halls that house about 5,800 students
  • 6 dining centers and 2 express facilities that serve more than 12,000 meals a day
  • 691 apartment units in 3 apartment villages that house about 890 students and their families
  • 100+ conferences a year
  • Summer courses, conferences, and groups at Pingree Park, CSU's mountain campus

Major areas of the department include Apartment Life, Conference Services, Dining Services, Operations Management, Pingree Park, Residence Life, and the RamCard Office. Housing & Dining Services has 1,500 employees (400 full-time employees and 1,100 part-time employees).
