Smart Cards
The RamCard Office now sells Smart Cards for the
parking meters on campus.
- Each card has a microchip embedded in it with a certain dollar amount encoded in it.
- When the card is inserted into the meter, it will flash the balance 4 times.
- After the fourth flash, the meter will begin taking off money in 30 minute increments.
- When the desired time is reached (limited to three hours), remove the card quickly.
- Cards are available for only $10 or $20.

Visitor Parking Permits
We issue visitor parking permits to persons who are NOT students, faculty, or staff at CSU.
- Permits cost $4.00 each.
- These permits are valid for one day only. We may issue one permit per day, per person. Up to three permits per visit may be purchased.
- Visitors must come to our office in person to be issued a permit.
- Campus organizations must go to University Parking Services to obtain permits for their visitors.
- Any person found altering a permit will be charged a fee of $75.00.
- Any fees or tickets incurred while using permits can be paid or appealed at CSUPD Parking Services Division in Green Hall.
You may park in Z areas without a permit after 4:00 PM, in A lots after 7:00 PM, and X,Q,W lots after 8pm. After Friday evening, parking without a permit is allowed until 7:00 AM Monday morning. For parking areas, refer to the main campus map with assigned parking lots.
