Durward Hall

Durward Hall is one of two 12 story residence hall towers on campus which offer great views of the foothills and campus. Durward is located on the north side of campus close to Durrell Center, Moby arena, and Campus West, off-campus shopping and restaurants.

Durward features:

  • Standard Rooms (residents in each corridor share a community bathroom). Take a look at the floorplan of a standard room.
  • Three room corner units with shared living room and private bedrooms on each floor Take a look at the floorplan of a three room unit.
  • Upperclass housing on floors 10-12
  • Lounges on each floor
  • Close to Durrell Center which has a game room, weight room, and computer lab
  • Durrell dining center featuring Pasta al'Strada, R&D Pizza, Sidestreet, and Mainstreet. Durrell also features Late Nite dining and Durrell Express, a grab-and-go facility. Students in the residence halls may eat in any one of our 6 dining centers. Visit the Dining Services pages for more information on meal plans and dining centers.

All Halls feature:

  • The Towers24 hour desk assistance
  • 3 Levels of Security
  • High speed Internet connections (one per resident)
  • Wireless laptop connections in the dining centers
  • One activated phone line per room with a second phone line available for a telecommunications fee. Long distance telephone service available.
  • Lounges and/or study rooms. Lounges have TV’s and/or games like pool, foosball, and ping-pong.
  • Kitchenette for resident use
  • Laundry facilities
  • Utilities included (cable, local phone, Internet, electricity, water, and recycling)
  • Designated parking (Students may obtain parking passes from Parking Services)
  • Academic and social programming opportunities
  • Academic environment – students who live on campus tend to have higher GPAs than students who live off campus
  • Supportive and involved Resident Assistants (RA’s) and Hall Directors
  • Dedicated office, custodial, dining services, and maintenance staff
