Mixed Containers (Plastic, Glass, Aluminum):

  • Clean #1–#7 Plastic Bottles, Tubs and Containers
    Labels and snap-on lids OK
    (NO screw top caps, plastic bags, pesticide or motor oil containers, styrofoam, microwavable trays or food/party trays.)
  • Glass Bottles and Jars of any Color
    Labels are okay, remove and recycle metal lids
    (NO broken glass, light bulbs, plate glass or cookware)
  • Aluminum Cans
    (DON’T crush or flatten cans)
  • Steel (Tin) Cans
    (labels are okay)
  • Metal Jar Lids and Bottle Caps
  • Empty Aerosol Cans
    (NO caps)
  • Aluminum Foil
    (FLATTENED, clean foil only)

Paper, Newspaper & Magazines

  • Newspapers and Newspaper Inserts
    (NO plastic bags)
  • Magazines, Catalogs and Books
  • Opened Junk Mail
    (REMOVE any non-paper items)
  • Office Paper
    (NO neons or carbon paper)
  • Phone Books

Cardboard & Paperboard

  • Corrugated Cardboard
    (packing boxes and pizza boxes)
  • Brown Paper Grocery Bags
  • Paperboard
    (cereal and pasta boxes, clothing boxes, egg cartons)

  • CSU directory and standard phonebooks

  • Pallets/Wood

  • Fluorescent tubes
