The Office of Conference Services (OCS) has been in the meeting business for 50 years and currently works with an average of 100 programs per year. Each program is assigned to an experienced, professional coordinator. The coordinator makes arrangements for all necessary University services such as meeting rooms, campus lodging, food services, audiovisual support, transportation, printing, copying, and anything else that involves use of University equipment or services.
In addition to the coordination of all the details common to most meetings, the Office of Conference Services offers optional services. Our All-Inclusive Package includes:
- Conference planning and consultation including budget development
- Logistics coordination
- Marketing assistance
- Online registration and payments
- On-site registration
- Accounting
The
All-Inclusive Package is especially helpful for organizations that do not
have staff with conference planning experience. Whether hiring a faculty
member for a presentation, arranging a technical field trip, identifying
mountain tour options for a spouse/guest program, or making block reservations
for off-campus lodging, your professional coordinator knows the available
resources and the process of planning and conducting a successful meeting.

Experienced Staff
The CSU Office of Conference Services dates back to the early
1950’s, and the University has long valued the many contributions
made by conferences. In addition, many of our campus partners who provide support services
for conferences have lengthy tenures. Together we have assisted thousands
of successful conferences.
Family Opportunities
Because of our location and the diversity of recreational resources nearby, we encourage conference participants to bring their families along. Various activities are available on or near campus on an “ala carte” basis or we can assist in the identification of organized outings.Back to the top
Conference Season
As is the case with most colleges and universities, summer session enrollment at CSU is just a fraction of the academic year enrollment. As a result, the residence halls and a large number of meeting facilities are available for conferences from late May through early August. In addition, various meeting facilities are available during the academic year during semester breaks. Regardless of the season, the Office of Conference Services is available to provide year-round coordination services for conferences meeting on the CSU campus or at other venues, from local to international.
Satisfied Customers
Well over half of our business is with repeat customers. Upon request,
we will provide names and contact information for select clients so
that you can ask your counterparts for unbiased opinions of CSU as
a conference site.
