How to Apply to the University Apartments
1. Be an admitted student to Colorado State University in good standing
Application for an apartment can be made after admission to the University has been granted. Apply on-line at www.HousingApps.colostate.edu
Current students can pick up an Apartment Application Form at the Department of Housing and Dining Services, Palmer Center, 1005 West Laurel Street. Or APPLY ONLINE!
Faculty and staff (including Post Docs and visiting scholars) must contact the Apartment Life office at (970) 491-4743 or email alassign@colostate.edu in order to apply.
2. Send in your Apartment Deposit
- If you wish to use a credit card to pay your $140 housing deposit, you must apply on-line.
- If you do not wish to apply online, complete the University Apartment Housing Application Form and return it to the Apartment Life Office, 208 Palmer Center with the required $140 deposit.
- You may list as many apartment choices as you wish on your application.
- APPLY EARLY TO ENSURE YOUR FIRST CHOICE!
- If the personal information on the printed application is incorrect, please make changes on the form. If you wish to change your address with the University, you can do so on-line at ramweb.colostate.edu
Priority on the assignment list is determined by the date of application,
and notification of assignment is made approximately 3-4 weeks prior
to the move-in date. You will choose any furniture that you wish to
have in your apartment at the time that your apartment is assigned.
Furniture is offered at no additional charge, based on availability,
and does not include linens, cookware, small appliances, etc. The deposit
is refundable at any time prior to your assignment. Your deposit will
be refunded to your student account.
Contact Apartment Life, Department of Housing and Dining Services, Palmer Center,
(970) 491-4743 to cancel an application and receive a refund.
3. Check in
Once notified of an assignment to an apartment, you will receive information
on when and how you can move
in to your apartment. You will also receive a packet of valuable information
to help you feel at home and be a part of your new community.
4. Additional information
- No pets are allowed with the exception of service animals.
- Laundry facilities with coin & card-operated machines are provided in each area.
- Clothes washer hookups are available at Aggie Village and University Village at both 1600 West Plum Street and 1700 West Plum Street. Dryer hookups are also available at 1600 West Plum Street and 1700 West Plum Street.
- Waterbeds are permitted in Aggie Village, the 3-bedroom units on the ground floor at University Village at 1600 West Plum Street, and at all apartments at 1700 West Plum Street.
- Nearby Residence Halls offer Dining Services Meal Plans, at additional cost, to Apartment Life residents.
